I REALLLY don’t want to have all my cavities filled. help?!?!?!?
I have 3 cavities on 3 different canines (due to the position of those teeth, i currently have braces correcting it) that actually hurt if you press something sharp in them & my other cavities are in the beginning stages. I hate getting my teeth filled and the sound of the drill and I’m hoping I can rebuild my enamel so i don’t have to get them filled! I am not allowed to use fluoride because its harmful to the body. I was wondering if anyone had methods of preventing the beginning cavities and stopping the cavities that hurt?
Please no smart alec answers, i know, western medicine proves drilling and filling the only choice, but i know that can’t be the only option, I’m more looking for holistic approaches.
Once the cavities have started, there is nothing you can do to “rebuild” the enamel, because there is nothing to rebuild once it is gone, it’s gone for good. So your only option is to remove the decay and fill it. You can get this done with seditation , but you will have to find a dentist that does seditation dentistry.
If you could actually rebuild your tooth enamel, all those people with bad teeth all over the world, would have a mouth full of perfect white teeth, without cavities. (not a smart alec remark, just a fact).
Now BEFORE there is decay, cleaning and flossing help a great deal. Using a mineral tooth paste can help strengthen the enamel BEFORE it gets weakened. There are mineral rinses that help with that as well. But again it MUST be done before there is decay, otherwise you can help protect undamaged areas, but not DAMAGED ones.
