Holistic Cholesterol lowering ideas…?

Went to the doc to have a blood test done on my cholesterol… My bad cholesterol number was through the roof 191..The tech never told me what the good cholesterol number was…I had a cholesterol check done 3 months ago and it wasn’t bad then in fact the total cholesterol number this time dropped considerably….230 down to 211…
Problem is I am allergic to anything stronger than Asprin and Tylenol..I cannot even take vitamins..they make me sick..
The clinic tech asked me what time I would be into the clinic for cholesterol meds…I said i am not going on the drugs…My body cannot tolerate drugs at all…This is the first time the bad cholesterol has been elevated so high…
So far I have over hauled my eating….totally..oatmeal, oranges, 8 glasses of water a day, yogurt, whole wheat bread, fresh fruits and veggies 5 times a and watching the cholesterol and fst numbers on the packages numbers….Any other suggestions for lowering the LDL number would be appreciated..

Avoid any red meat and all bad animal saturated fat. Avoid sweet fruit. Eat fruit with its fiber or blender not sweet fruit juice. Banana, mangoes, papaya, corn, carrot and potatoes also contain hidden sugar. Whole wheat bread is good but don’t take it alone. Spread with a little fresh margarine or extra virgin olive oil to slower the carbohydrate absorption in the digestive system. It will also be better if you take the bread with some tuna or cold roast chicken slice.

Choose the slow cooking oatmeal, not the instant one. Cook it slowly with non fat milk. Allow one egg any style at your taste. Relax your mind. Have routine exercise and good enough sleep at night. Good healthy nutrition combined with other healthy life style and supported by quiet mind can be called as holistic approach or comprehensive manner for our health.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Cholesterol is a lipidic, waxy steroid found in the cell membranes and transported in the blood plasma of all animals. It is an essential component of mammalian cell membranes, where it is required to establish proper membrane permeability and fluidity. In addition, cholesterol is an important precursor molecule for the biosynthesis of bile acids, steroid hormones, and several fatsoluble vitamins. Cholesterol is the principal sterol synthesized by animals, but small quantities are synthesized in other eukaryotes, such as plants and fungi. It is almost completely absent among prokaryotes, which include bacteria. The name cholesterol originates from the Greek chole (bile) and stereos (solid), and the chemical suffix ol for an alcohol, as Franois Poulletier de la Salle first identified cholesterol in solid form in gallstones, in 1769. However, it was only in 1815 that chemist Eugne Chevreul named the compound cholesterine.
