I can not find the name of Crystal I have that has been refined to look like a ball, but…?

it is blue color…… almost too perfect pure blue round crystal ball. I have few quartz clear crystals, but I do not know what this blue one could be ?
what is Obsidian Cobalt Blue ? I am not sure if mine is that, or blue quarts crystal. How can I differentiate between the two ?

Several minerals can be blue and ground to look like a ball. The important thing to know is what crystal system is it, what forms etc. For example, you can grind quartz smooth but it is really Hexagonal crystal system, hexagonal division, center of symmetry, di-pyramidal and so on.
