Does Jesus Christ provide emotional healing?

I suffer from depression. I feel like I have been praying for years for Christ to heal me.
I wonder if He truly does, or if I am doing something wrong, because I still feel lonely, grief-stricken, and depressed. I am interested to hear about other people’s perspectives on this issue. Thank you.

also try to surround yourself with like minded people who will work to bring you up to help your self esteem and i wonder, has anyone laid hands on you and prayed for healing?

find a good church, one where the Holy Spirit leads and is in control and you should find some support there.
