Are US doctors so much under pressure from celebrities that they under perform?

It is shocking that all these celebrities keep dieing of drug over loads in their systems and at their residences instead of being admitted to hospital with proper manpower to deal with their problems.
Are the doctors being swayed by the almighty dollar to the extent that they forget their basics?
Why will a cardiologist move in with Jackson or any other patient for that matter?
Is it not suppose to be a holistic approach to patient care via family doctor’s coordination?

The rules are different for wealthy people. It’s easy to find doctors who will over-prescribe (or several doctors who don’t know about the others) since there’s no health insurance company trying to minimize costs.

Also Jackson had to pass a physical to get insurance for his tour. I’d imagine that he wanted a cardiologist on hand since he was trying so hard to build his stamina and strength for the tour.

The holistic approach with coordinated care is a luxury of managed care systems. No insurance, whether you are at the high-income end or the low-income end means that isn’t featured in your care.
