Has anyone seen a holistic doctor before and had positive results with it?
I am dealing with depression and anxiety right now. I went to a MD, but of course they handed me some pills and sent me on my way. I really don’t want to take Lexepro, which is what the MD gave me, because I have heard some negative side affects from it. The holistic doctor that I went to said that my hormones are off balance, and that makes sense. He gave me a lot of herbs and minerals to take. I really can’t afford going to the holistic doctor, because my insurance won’t cover it. So is it worth it to keep going or just stick with the traditional MD? Any good stories about holistic remedies? No sarcastic remarks please. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!!
