Can I re-bake dog kibble?

I’m switching my dog from Science Diet to Nutro holistic food to see if it helps reduce weeping, earwax, and fatty cysts. I know new foods are supposed to be integrated gradually, but the trouble is that she loves the new food so much she just eats the Nutro kibble and won’t touch the Science Diet. I want her to change gradually because right now she’s having loose stool from switching to new food so fast. Has anyone ever tried grinding 2 types of kibble, then re-baking them? I want her to stay used to crunching dry food, but I don’t suppose I can force her to keep eating more Science Diet right now unless I do something like what I mentioned above.

No you cannot “re-bake” it, it would lose most of the nutrients from the heat.

When mixing dry foods add some water, wet food, gravy, chicken/beef broth, etc, so it all tastes the same and they can’t pick out the new stuff and leave the old. Once you start increasing the new food decrease the water/etc till you have totally switched foods and are back to feeding dry.
