Where to get support for a 7 day juice fast?
Ate a lot of bad things over the holidays and am highly addicted to caffeine and nicotine. I’m sure I have a lot of toxins to eliminate but primarily after struggling to slowly break my addictions to those “drugs” and also convience foods and white flour and sugar (comfort foods for me) I’ve decided on taking this extreme step. I see the wisdom of tackling one thing at a time but also think that while battling the caffeine migraine (5 cups of coffee/day for over 20 years) I might as well go through the nicotine withdrawal ( 1 1/2 packs/day) and since I’ll be “miserable” anyway what more pain could going w/o food cause. I do believe at day 5 or so- I’ll feel a lot better.
Thing is I have no support group to lean on when I get emotional which is going to happen. My best friends do not embrace any holistic ideas and will just tell me I’m crazy and encourage me to stop.
