Did anyone else get a ‘Wired’ magazine?
‘Wired’ is not a magazine I hunt down to read. Sure, they had that article on Manga a couple of months back, but it’s like the billionth most popular magazine on my list.
Imagine my shock when the latest issue turned up in my mailbox WITH MY YAHOO NAME on it.
It opens the door to more questions:
1) If Yahoo! did this, shouldn’t I have a choice of which magazine I would like?
2) If Yahoo! did this, shouldn’t I have gotten a little note, telling me this? (You have been such a great member for us, you are getting a one-year free subscription to ‘Holistic Rhinoplasty’, with our complements!)
3) If Yahoo! has my information, who ELSE has my information?
It’s bad enough I get e-mail spam from hot Asian sluuts or 75% off Viagra! (I assume, because I am hanging around the hot Asian sluuts) or some Nigerian oil minister needs my bank account to free up a bajillion dollars (and I’ll get what’s coming to me), that Yahoo! is adding to it.
Anyone else in the same boat?
