I go to 3 diffrent docs an endron urolagist and psych I am on 6 meds and nothing seems to help?

I see these doctors every few weeks and they say my tetest is average and my thyroid is hypo I take clomiphene,synthroid,ambian pm seraquel 300,rozerim, Iam never tired I called a holistic practioner today and I will send him my blood work next week in the mean time he thinks I am running on adrenalen my stomach inside thighs,arms, and feetare freezing cold especially at night I do not drink smoke or do drugs I exercise about 4 times a week and I feel absolutely horrible never tired sleep 3-4 hours after taking the 3 sleep meds no sexual energy whatsoever have 2 warts on my fingers which even after being burnt off 2 times and cut out in the emergency room after infection came back the pain was incredible so I don’t want to burn them off anymore not sure if this is related anyone else have this or can help would be great
This has been going on a long time starting today I am on a strict diet I am 5ft 9 and weight 175 been to sleep studies 2 times not much help 44 year male

Ouch! Sorry to hear of your problems Tom, I’m sure not being able to sleep has to drive you nuts. I wish after I’d read your question that some rare disease I read about just popped into my head that matched your symptoms but unfortunatly I don’t have any answers for you. However I do have some ideas.

I wonder if you aren’t sensitive or maybe allergic (for lack of better term) to the synthroid and it is causing some of this? The no sleeping, no tiredness can be a sign on hyperthryoidism, but your bloodwork shows normal with the meds. Cold extremities can also point to the thyroid of course. Are your feet and hands painful to touch? There’s a ‘syndrome’ called Raynauds that will cause the blood vessels in the extremities to close up far more than they should and cause coldness. (generally includes being tender to the touch.) If you press on your hands or feet and when you release the pressure the skin shows white or lighter at first and then as the blood fills back in, this should happen within a second (called ‘refill rate’ it’s how fast blood moves back into the capillaries) if it’s longer than that you need to run it past your doctors also. My daughter has a slow refill rate, we’ve ruled out Raynauds, and I not remember what the other thing the doctor said it could be, something to do with the blood.

No idea if the warts are related, some can be really hard to get rid of. The loss of libido, well sleep deprivation can certainly do that, as well as the meds and can also be related to thyroid.

I think the idea of a elimination diet to find if you have any food allergies/sensitivities is a good starting place. (I read through your other questions and see you are starting this.) Food allergies can do weird things to you.

I’m sorry I don’t have an absolute answer for you, I hope you find out what is wrong and soon.
