I need advice for chronic migraines?

I am a chronic migraine sufferer, I also have several other conditions including: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Seizures, Fibromyalgia, etc. I’ve been suffering from migraines and seizures for about 22 years now, I’ve been through every drug on the market, including drugs not even indicated for migraines. I’ve tried every holistic medicine and vitamins and herbs. I’ve been to Stanford Medical, Keeler Headache Center, too many doctor’s to count, pain management, acupuncture, chiropractic, and the whole realm of tests, blood tests, CT scans, MRI’s, and I still get migraines several times a week. I visit the ER at least 3 times a month, and I’m just at the end of my rope. I would go more in depth with my explaination, but it would take me a year to type out the whole story. Just wondering if I have to keep going on like this forever?

Amitryptaline really worked for me, but it’s something you might talk to your doctor about. It’s not a migraine or headache med, but it is effective for people with fibro. I have chronic headaches as well. I have endometriosis, severe epilepsy, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and RA amongst others. So I know how frustrating it is. Although I haven’t had to deal with it for 22 years… More like 12. I’m 23 right now. You’ve probably been through more than I have, but hopefully this is something you haven’t tried and it works.
