cat food question?
Has anyone ever used the cat food called “Blue spa select ” it is a holistic cat food .If so what do you think of it ? If not what brand of food do you feed your cat?
It looks decent.. I read through the ingredients and wouldn’t have a problem feeding it to my cat if the brand I currently feed wasn’t available.. They sell this at my local Petsmart for ridiculous prices though which would keep me from buying it….
I feed a combination of Innova Evo canned food and raw.. I pay a lot less for it and Innova has a better ingredients list.. You might want to check local feed stores.. That’s where I can buy Innova for less per ounce then a junk food like friskies..
I don’t feed any dry at all though…

Many people don’t seem to understand that you can shop around and get a species appropriate diet for not much more then a junk food that will shorten your cats lifespan.. For one, cats have to eat less of a quality food then they do of a cheap food..We used to go through a 20lb bag of Meow mix every couple weeks.. Now I feed them a combination of raw and canned food for not all that much more..
Bottom line is, there’s no such thing as a dry food that’s perfect for cats.. Dry food is only popular because it’s convenient for people and you can buy it made out of mostly corn that makes it very very profitable for pet food companies.. Since I switched to a combo of raw and canned,I haven’t had a single emergency vet visit with my cats.. No more urinary tract problems with them, and no more allergy problems with my dogs.. The raw meat gives them something natural for them to chew on and their teeth look great.. None of my pets are overweight anymore..
If you can’t provide a pet with a species appropriate diet, you probably shouldn’t get the pet.. Anyone can afford the right food if they do their research and shop around..
