How can i be my true self?
How can i be my true self around others? Im a very intelligent and talented young man who feels i have a lot to offer to the world im a holistic therapist just started my own natural therapy business offering massage, aromatherapy, stress management etc, im a good poet, singer and dancer and so on. But why do i feel i have to hide these parts of myself from the world, i feel so anxious etc that people will judge me negatively or harshly that i either hide away from everyone, or when im around others i hide who i really am out of fear, how can i be my true self and show others who i really am without being afraid of rejection or ridicule, how can i overcome it all so i can start advertising my business properly, as i just feel people wouldnt want what i offer etc or wouldnt like me etc. Can anyone help?
I spent many years of my life feeling the same way and do you know what I’ve discovered? That I could drive myself insane trying to everything to everyone, and still I will wind up feeling rejection. You will never win this losing race. So get out of it! There is no better and freeing feeling in the world than to be yourself. Whoever and whatever that may be it can’t be all that bad… it’s just YOU. And anyone that you reach out to meet should be greeted by the real you because if they’re the kind of person you want in your life than any falseness they see in you could turn them away and you’d lose out on a great and true relationship. On the other hand if you are rejected for being yourself than consider them a loss. Why would you want to even consider the notion of entertaining anyone who would be more turned on by a lie. The only thing better than knowing yourself… is being yourself. Been there done that, man. It’s a waste of time, and you’ll only lose yourself in the process. Good luck! Hope this helped, even a little bit. ![]()
P.S. From one massage therapist to another, just do what comes naturally to you. Being natural.

Stress Management for Teachers: Increasing Dialogue $30.08 Stress Management for Teachers: Increasing Dialogue presents a comprehensive view of the impact that teacher stress has on student achievement. Eastland Middle plunged into a second year of school improvement mainly because teacher stress was not addressed. During the first school improvement year, Principal Smith incorporated a targeted intervention program without first acknowledging and addressing the stressors that resided within the school environment. The school paid a price because stressed teachers were unable to properly implement new strategies. Join Eastlands teachers as they participate in stress management training from a holistic standpoint: A holistic approach in which active problemsolving is used to address stress entails reducing isolation by bringing teachers together for sharing and strategizing; restoring perspective and balance; increasing selfawareness; and identifying the next step(Sparks, 1983). Stress Management $68.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Stress management is the amelioration of stress and especially chronic stress often for the purpose of improving everyday functioning. Stress produces numerous symptoms which vary according to persons, situations, and severity. These can include physical health decline as well as depression. Walter Cannon and Hans Selye used animal studies to establish the earliest scientific basis for the study of stress. They measured the physiological responses of animals to external pressures, such as heat and cold, prolonged restraint, and surgical procedures, then extrapolated from these studies to human beings. Subsequent studies of stress in humans by Richard Rahe and others established the view that stress is caused by distinct, measureable life stressors, and further, that these life stressors can be ranked by the median degree of stress they produce (leading to the Holmes and Rahe Stress Scale) Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Timpledon, Miriam T./ Marseken, Susan F.
