By what organizations/boards do I need to be certified to practice private holistic medicine?
I am thinking of completing a home course to become a private holistic health practitioner through the Global College of Natural Medicine. Is this a legitimate program? And will there be additional costs to be certified if I decide to start my own business? If so, by what organizations/boards must I be certified with in order to protect the integrity of my business? check your state requirements. Some states do not recognize holistic health care and you may not be able to get a license in your state for this. You will also need insurance, malpractice so you need to see if your state has insurance that will cover this. Check with the better business bureau and see if this college has any reports on it and talk with other holistic health practitioners that have been in practice for a while, see if they have ever heard of this collage and also if there are any practitioners in your area see what additional requirements there may be.
