what are your thoughts on Loving Kindness?
I have asked this question in a different form calling it Metta which is a Meditation Practice I use aswell as part of my Life Philosophy, but I have gotten Very few responces on the 2 occassions (4 & 6) I have asked it, so I have coppied and pasted it below
As always I ask this Question with Metta.

Metta is the Magadhi (commonly known as Pali although Pali means text in Magadhi) word translated as Loving kindness.

I see no need for a belief in god to be relevant, today happened in any case
There have been times in my own life in which I felt great compassion for others. . . (usually easier after I’ve experienced hardship, myself) and times when I felt completely connected to everyone else through Love and Kindness but *maintaining* that place (or those feelings) is what is difficult. It is constantly changing.
I guess the best thing is to go within and ask or pray for the strength and patience it requires to be forgiving. Try to remember and see from all seeming differences between yourself and everyone else on this planet, what you see in yourself . . . the same basic feelings, hopes and the same inexpressible urge to better understand yourself and your world. Try to remember that everyone else is in a different stage of their own evolution –some ahead of you, some behind you –but we bear a kinship to one another
