How can I become a Reiki Master???

I would like to train as a Reiki practitioner, and then become a Master. Does anyone know where I could get my certification? Anywhere in the South Florida area or any online places that are reputable?? Any help would be great!!

I would like to caution you however regarding Reiki. The practice was invented by a Japanese Tendai Buddhist after contemplation on a retreat.

However, breaking down the idea of Reiki, it has its origins as its origins rooted into East Asian ideas of energy, Qigong/Kundalini Yoga, and esoteric Buddhist meditation practices.

Excluding the theoretical ideas about energy, the last two sources of Reiki have in fact shown rather interesting medical benefits by groups studying at Johns Hopkins University and Harvard.

Reiki has, so far, not created reproduceable results.

Bear in mind, i’m not passing judgment on it yet (more tests are in fact necessary). But if your looking for something that has demonstrated effective uses terms of healing, I suggest you find a good Tai Qi/Kundalini Yoga practitioner.
