When performing reiki on a lady her foot spasms, has this happened to anyone else?
This lady I do reiki for, her foot spasms sometimes, it seems to do it more when I’m holding her foot and doing reiki. I do deep meditation during the reiki sessions. When I hold her foot normally spasms are rarer. I’m level III attuned (one level below master).
Does anyone have an idea why this occurs, and has it happened to you?
It is hard to say what’s happening without being there, but in my case, I did reiki on a woman’s injured ankle, and she started to feel spasms in her foot. It didn’t hurt, but it was odd for her. My feeling was that in her case, the reiki was moving through energetic blocks and because the feet are really a microcosm of the whole body, they can be quite reactive. She felt great after.
