Shamanic healing-HAS ANYONE EVER HAD A, ‘ SOUL RETRIEVAL’PERFORMED by a SHAMAN???

I had orginally asked this question in the catagory,’religion/spirituality’ about 15-20 minutes ago.It does,t look as though I will have to many knowledgable in that catagory so far .so i hope some in this catagory will be able to help.I would appreciate it if you could view the question i wrote in the 1st catagory of R/S,I think it explains more of what i am searching for concerning this ancient healing technique.Any serious answers are greatly appreciated!’

I’m just leaving an answer to make it easier to look in on this question later, as I too am interested in soul retreival. I have not had it done, but I find the ideas behind it very interesting, and would definitely like to know more about how to have it done, and how to find an experienced Shaman to do it, so I sure do hope that some knowledgeable people will show up and offer advise on it. While I think it would be more useful to have someone who knows what they are doing to go about it, I do think that as I have progressed on my spirit walk, I have had some pieces returned to me that left as a result of childhood traumas. Whether they were returned by Spirit, or if I was able to go out there and pick up a couple of them myself, I couldn’t tell you. I don’t have the training to do a thorough job of it for my self, but I do feel that a couple of pieces have been returned. I guess what I am trying to say, is that I think that you may be able to recover some on your own, but progress may be alot slower, if you don’t have that sort of training…
but if you progress on your spiritual walk, some pieces may be returned as part of that…..
