Best Holistic Cat Food

Can I spike my cat’s food with tasty oil to make her like it more?
I’ve started feeding my 2yr old cat the expensive, holistic, high quality food (I won’t mention the brand, but it’s one of the foods that comes highly recommended by pet stores and websites). However, she’s really doesn’t dig the stuff (I’ve tried many of the flavours), good as it may be for her. She’s basically been spoiled by the low quality, high-flavour junk that mascarades as pet food (which, unfortunately, is 99% of the stuff on the market).
I started thinking: could I spray some tasty fish oil, or something else like it, to make her like it more? I have an oil spritzer that I use for my frypan, so that should work fine. But would it be too much oil? Would there be any other dangers?
I want her to eat the best she can, but I’m a little tired of her whining when I give her the good stuff.

Cod liver oil will do the trick, but don’t use too much as it can cause diarrhea.
