What are some good writing styles for a Master’s Thesis?
I am currently enrolled in University Of Metaphysical Sciences ( http://umsonline.org/ )and need to get started on my Master’s Thesis. I understand the MLA layout and citations and such, but am unclear on what kinds of “voice” would be best for writing a thesis. The style of the classes written was a bit of an example, but I am still having trouble, and my instructors are very laid back about how they help.
any ideas on what styles would be good is appreciated greatly.
I think you are talking about metaphysical sciences! Good luck.

Metaphysical Foundations of Mathematics in Economics $105.14 Economics is supposed to fall somewhere between a hard science and a social science. During the last half century, economics has become highly mathematical trying to mimic physics. The purpose of this study is to look at the metaphysical statements linked to mathematical models, specifically, Game Theory. In doing so, it will be demonstrated that Game Theory, as part of neoclassical economics, engages in analysis which can be categorized as metaphysical, with real metaphysical implications. In categorizing the metaphysical assumptions of neoclassical economists/game theorists we will see how much of their analysis is consists in a reductive, implausible metaphysical view. Problems that arise from this view are hardly taken into consideration most economists. This lack of consideration has nontrivial consequences for economics as a discipline and for its methodology. Beyond Biology: Metaphysical Brain Science $36.56 Technological advances have given us increased life expectancy, conquest of disease and hunger, provided us the wherewithal to explore other worlds, and our inner selves. Yet, we owe a certain pessimism to the materialism of the mind. Beyond Biology transposes brain science from mere description of diseases and lesions, into a realm of limitless possibility. The brain, mediator for all behavior, is the springboard of all human capacity, taking us far beyond our physical and biological limitations. Do computers and other tools extend mental and physical capacities? For science, music, architecture, all of civilization, our brain is their launching pad. Beyond Biology views physicality as the mere beginning of human potential, not its end. Scientific understanding, far from being just reductionist, must ignite a new spiritual awakening. This work seeks to transport the reader into the metaphysical world through the lens of brain biology Author: Yanofsky MD, Charles S. Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 670 Publication Date: 2010/06/21 Language: English Dimensions: 5.98 x 9.01 x 1.47 inches |
